In 2018 Mike found a couple of companions through the Adventure Cycling Website to do a bike tour with. Corey, Scott, and Mike were of like minds – ride 40 to 50 miles per day and sleep indoors when possible. Corey was the organizer, and he suggested a ride from Missoula, MT to Portland, OR, timed to arrive in time for his daughter’s 10 year wedding anniversary celebration.
